We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Accountant with experience in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining efficient and effective financial operations within our organization.
Responsibilities
Analyze and reconcile customer forward contracts to ensure accurate processing.Prepare customer refunds with complete and detailed supporting documentation for review and approval.Process daily lockbox uploads, generate bank reports, cash application data, and check batches to support accurate cash application.Manage the dispute resolution process for all customer payment issues and work directly with customers to resolve discrepancies.Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations and prepare all necessary journal entries.Respond to customer questions and issues promptly and professionally.Support special projects, ad hoc reporting, internal and external audit requests, and customer-specific needs.Provide backup support for vendor maintenance setup/updates and travel administration.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.Experience with forward contracts, refunds, application reconciliations.Operational work experience in supporting general ledger, month-end, forward contracts, and daily reconciliation.Experience with Oracle is a plus.Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid work environment with three days in the office and two days working remotely each week. Our office follows a business casual dress code and operates paperless. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
