Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable person to join our team in Columbia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in payment processing, and supporting various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a commitment to excellent service, and proficiency in financial tools. Responsibilities: • Process credit card transactions, ensuring payments are secured prior to order fulfillment. • Monitor and hold orders that exceed credit limits until outstanding balances are resolved. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customer payments. • Respond to customer inquiries regarding payments and account-related concerns. • Conduct weekly freight analysis by evaluating income and expense entries, identifying inconsistencies, and collaborating with relevant teams to address them. • Record journal entries and assist with the monthly financial close process. • Manage sales tax exemption certificates and process tax refunds when necessary. • Participate in special accounting projects as assigned. • Perform additional duties to support the accounting team. Requirements • Experience in accounts receivable • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills for working with large datasets. • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail. • Excellent teamwork and dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
