Accounts Payables Supervisor

This position will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounts payable team including 2-4 admins and interns, ensuring all processes and procedures are carried out timely and accurately, as well as supporting the Manager, Accounts Payable and Administrative Services as needed.

Oversees and supervises the AP admins and internsInvoice posting across multiple platforms/processesEnsures all invoices are approved with correct backup and according to policies and proceduresMaintains various databases and ensures information is up-to-date and accurateManages weekly payment run processReconciles vendor account statements and resolves outstanding issues timelyParticipates in monthly and year-end close processHandles monthly reconciliation of corporate credit cardsUnderstands and can clearly communicate all policies and proceduresSupports AP Manager with automation implementationsIdentifies opportunities for process improvement and streamliningVarious ad-hoc projects, as needed

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:

Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and qualityStrong work ethic, with a positive attitude and high level of professionalismExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience managing multiple staffExceptional organization skillsStrong Excel skills – V-lookups, Pivot TablesProblem solving and analysisCustomer and client focus (both internal and external)Results driven, strong follow-up and follow-throughFlexibility Works well independently, within the Accounting group and with other teams.Based in Metro Boston areaWork in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change

 

 

Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or GEDAccounting or Finance degree is a plus
