**Job Title: Accounts Payable & Treasury Analyst**
**Department: Finance**
**Reports to: Finance Controller**
**Position Summary:**
The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function within the organization. This includes ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payment disbursements, managing the accounts payable team, and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors. The role also involves supporting month-end and year-end processes, auditing, and enhancing internal controls to ensure compliance with both Indian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Accounts Payable Management:**
+ Responsible for and manage end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring proper invoice verification, approval, and timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
+ Collaborate with E&C for various projects and reporting requirements
+ End to End management of expense claims and reconciliation with books
+ Ensuring timely corporate credit card reconciliation and payment
+ Timely submission of Blackline reconciliations and schedules
+ Hands on with monthly AP schedules both from IFRS and Ind AS perspective
+ Independently drive AP related projects
+ Single point of contact for the business for AP related queries
+ Ensure the proper management of GST compliance on payments and tax filings (GST TDS, etc.), in line with Indian taxation regulations.
+ **Vendor Relations & Compliance:**
+ Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of disputes or issues.
+ Handle vendor inquiries related to payments and account status.
+ **Treasury:**
+ Managing global cash positions, ensuring optimal liquidity and efficient working capital management across India & ISEA Region.
+ Oversee cash forecasting, daily cash management, and bank account reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of cash positions and guarantees.
+ Manage relationships with financial institutions, negotiating terms for credit facilities, investment agreements, and managing banking operations for 5 bank accounts.
+ Support in Tender Requirements for EMD in form of BG, DD, RTGS/NEFT, FDR, etc., monthly schedules and follow ups.
+ Bank Access Controls & Cash Management to maintain the Cash balance within agreed Limit which includes Cash forecasting plans sharing with Regional Treasury Team
+ Lead treasury operations related to debt management, including managing credit lines, lines of credit, and capital structure, while optimizing financing costs.
+ Collaborate with FP&A team for expense variance analysis.
+ **GST and Tax Compliance:**
+ Ensure that all GST payments, filings, and reporting requirements are met. Support the tax team in proper calculation and documentation of GST credits and work closely with the tax department to ensure compliance with India’s GST laws.
+ Support Tax team in ensuring proper reconciliation of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) as per Indian regulations and coordinate with the Income Tax department.
+ **Reconciliation & Reporting:**
+ Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts payable balances with the general ledger and assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial reports.
+ Generate and analyze reports on aging payables, cash flow projections, and outstanding liabilities.
+ **Internal Controls & Process Improvement:**
+ Review and improve internal accounts payable processes and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
+ Identify opportunities for automation and implement tools or practices that improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
+ **Audit Support:**
+ Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits, providing necessary documents and resolving any discrepancies identified during the process.
+ Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as Ind AS and company policies.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
+ Collaborate with the procurement, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth operations, policy adherence, and timely approvals.
+ Ensure alignment of the accounts payable process with overall business objectives.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Education and Experience:**
+ CA (Chartered Accountant) with 4-6 years of experience.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable with experience in handling a team,
+ Knowledge of Indian taxation, including GST, TDS, and compliance-related matters.
+ **Skills:**
+ Proficient in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle.
+ Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian tax regulations.
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, particularly in managing financial reports and reconciliations.
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships.
