Job Description

As the EMEA AP Team Leader you will oversee the accounts payable function across EMEA countries. It includes timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will also hold responsibility GRIR & Debit balance analytics teams. Equally important for you will be continuous improvement approach and business transformation promoting best practices, top market standards and modern tool and technologies. You will partner with and influence strategic sourcing organization, production plants and other departments..

You will work in hybrid model of work in our Katowice office and report directly to Manager, Accounts payable

Role will manage team of approximately 10 direct reports

Your Responsibilities:Lead the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of all accounts payable transactions and related.Lead the change and transformationDevelop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines with strong support from P2P GPOBuild & maintain strong relationships with colleagues and internal/external partnersMaintain good relations with suppliers resolving any discrepancies and ensuring timely payments.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function.Creating and keeping up-to-date process documentation and SOPs to simplify and automate processes and achieve cooperation among the teams.Hire, train, and mentor accounts payable staff to guarantee a high-performing team.Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available.Oversee the monthly closing of financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and reports.Oversee and solve deficiencies of the process by discovering root causesAlong with P2P GPO create a modern mindset and environment in AP with end goal to support global proactive spend management, working capital improvement and cash management.

The Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related (or relevant experience)3+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 1-2 years in a people lead role.Team management skills,,Strong analytical skills and continuous improvement mindsetProficiency in accounting software.Proficient English – spoken and written min B2

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Experience managing accounts payable functions across multiple regions or countries.Experience or good understanding of procurement and end-to-end P2P processSAP knowledge
