Job Description

The Accounts Payable Support role focuses on ticket resolution and providing support to both internal and external customers. You will be responsible for the clean-up of the Oracle and ServiceNow queues, ensuring timely escalation of issues requiring second-level support. In addition, you will offer training and guidance on accounts payable procedures to support Operations and HQ personnel. Leveraging metrics to enhance training and improve the customer satisfaction experience is a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

Resolve tickets related to accounts payable issues.Support Oracle and ServiceNow queue clean-up.Provide assistance to internal and external customers.Escalate issues requiring second-level support to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.Offer training and guidance on accounts payable procedures.Utilize metrics to enhance training and tools to improve customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills

1-5+ years of Accounts Payable experience.Experience with Oracle is a strong plus.ServiceNow experience is preferred.Customer service mindset, especially for vendor outreach.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with vendor setup and research analysis.Familiarity with 1099 forms.

Work Environment

You will be part of the Accounts Payable Support team, which consists of eight individuals. The team handles supplier setups, ticket resolution, and vendor support, with expectations of resolving 75 tickets per week and handling around 15 calls weekly as the role becomes more comfortable. The corporate HQ, located in Minnesota, houses approximately 120 people in the Accounting/Finance department, with 22-25 people in the Accounts Payable group. You will work in-office three days a week, with flexibility to choose the days. During training, attendance is required from Tuesday to Thursday, with remote work on Monday and Friday, aligning with the team's hybrid model. A technically sound individual is essential for efficient remote work.

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
