Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to oversee global accounts payable operations for a multinational organization. This leadership role involves driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with international standards, and enhancing processes for efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing accounts payable functions across multiple entities and countries, coupled with expertise in automation and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage accounts payable operations across multiple entities and international locations to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Develop and enforce compliance with local and international regulations related to accounts payable activities.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to optimize payment processes and resolve disputes effectively.
• Implement process improvements and automation strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workloads.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure departmental success and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee the utilization of systems such as Sage, CloudDocs, and Concur to streamline accounts payable workflows.
• Ensure operational controls are in place to maintain accuracy and prevent errors or fraud.
• Train and mentor the accounts payable team to foster growth and maintain high performance.
• Collaborate with remote service teams to ensure alignment and consistency in global operations.
The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000 + bonus.
Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable management within large multinational organizations.
• Strong knowledge of global manufacturing operations and compliance requirements.
• Expertise in three-way matching and invoice reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with systems such as Sage, CloudDocs, and Concur for accounts payable functions.
• Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and automation in financial operations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide remote teams.
• Strategic thinking and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective vendor and stakeholder collaboration.
