We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a large, growing healthcare system in the Albany area.

This role is responsible for managing full-cycle accounts payable activities across multiple campuses, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, reimbursements, and related transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to join the largest regionally governed not-for-profit health system in northeastern New York and western New England, with strong potential for long-term growth and advancement.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices, reimbursements, refunds, and credits accurately and timely within ERP systemsReview and manage vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvalsCommunicate with vendors regarding payment status, discrepancies, and timelinesMonitor payment schedules, including discounts, rebates, and sensitive payment termsPrepare and distribute mailed paymentsMaintain and update supplier records to ensure accuracy of payment detailsTrack and manage invoices that cannot be processed in ERP, ensuring proper documentationRespond to internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely mannerAssist with month-end and year-end close activities, including 1099 filingsSupport compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial regulationsCollaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Treasury, and Supply Chain teams
Required Qualifications2+ years of Accounts Payable experienceExperience with full-cycle AP processingHands-on experience processing vendor invoices and managing vendor relationshipsProficiency in accounting/ERP softwareStrong Microsoft Office skills, особенно ExcelAssociate’s degree (or comparable experience)High attention to detail with strong data entry skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menands, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
