\n\t\t\t\t\tThe Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for maintaining current vendor accounts and supporting invoicing and payment functions. This role will analyze invoices for proper job costing, resolve discrepancies with vendors, and reconcile monthly vendor statements. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working cross‑functionally with vendors, internal teams, and management.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.\n\nVerify, classify, compute, post, and record accounts payable transactions daily within the company’s accounting system\nReview and audit invoices against purchase orders; research and resolve discrepancies\nAnalyze invoices for accuracy and proper job costing\nProcess weekly check runs and ensure timely payments\nReview vendor aging reports, research missing invoices, billing errors, and disputed charges\nCommunicate findings and resolutions with vendors, internal stakeholders, and management\nRespond promptly and professionally to vendor, client, and internal inquiries\nMaintain accurate records for accounts payable, expense reports, and company credit cards\nMaintain both electronic and hard‑copy filing systems and retrieve documents as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications
\n\t\t\t\t\tHS diploma required; Associate’s Degree or Bachelor's in Business, Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required\n2+ years of experience in accounts payable\nIndustry experience (construction) is preferred \nProficient in Microsoft 365 including Excel (vlookups, pivot tables), Explorer, Word, Outlook, and Teams \nExcellent attention to detail, commnication, organization, and time management skills \nInfor ERP or RFMS ERP experience is a plus, but not required \nMust be willing to come into office 5 days a week

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boynton Beach, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
