Seeking a talented Accounts Payable Specialist: Job Description The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This position involves issuing checks, processing AP invoices, managing wire payments, and performing bank reconciliations. The role requires someone attentive to detail, capable of handling multiple financial tasks, and skilled in using accounting software. Responsibilities + Issue checks and add accounts payable invoices. + Process wire payments and enter them into the system. + Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. + Prepare and check the accounts payable aging report monthly. + Manage debits and outgoing payments. + Process 50-100 payments weekly. + Assist controller with preparing monthly financial reports + GL reconciliation + Inventory reconciliation Essential Skills + Proficiency in accounts payable and invoice processing. + Experience with bank reconciliation and processing a high volume of payments. + Ability to prepare monthly aging reports. + Skilled in Excel, specifically pivot tables and VLOOKUP for reconciliations. + Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics ERP. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 3-5 years of relevant experience. + Bachelor's degree is required. + Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, particularly Business Central, is a plus. + Candidates from all industries are encouraged to apply. Work Environment The position is 100% onsite in Brentwood. The standard schedule is 9 AM to 6 PM, but accommodations can be made for an 8 AM to 5 PM schedule. This role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with a well-established company and the potential for a raise in January 2027.
