Job Description
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate scanning, coding, and entry of invoices. You will manage your time effectively to guarantee that transactions are recorded in a timely and precise manner. This role requires collaboration across departments and business units to resolve any transactional issues and ensure the consistent provision of accurate data.
Responsibilities
Accurately scan, code, and key invoices.Manage time to ensure timely and accurate transaction recording.Follow and document processes and procedures.Collaborate with various departments and business units to resolve transaction issues.Provide consistent and accurate data.Reconcile accounts.Essential Skills
Proficiency in accounts payable processes.Experience in invoice processing and reconciliation.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office.Strong data entry skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.1-3 years of experience as an accounting professional.Ability to read, write, and solve basic math problems.Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.Understanding of accounting principles.Work Environment
The work environment offers a flexible arrangement, with the ability to work from home occasionally, though there is a focus on working five days a week in the office. Senior team members may work from home once a week. The team is flexible, but there is an expectation to be in the office regularly. The office is equipped with printing facilities.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
