Join our leading civil construction firm as an Accounts Payable Specialist, responsible for maintaining and updating vendor records in Viewpoint, accurately reviewing, coding, and processing vendor invoices, and handling various other accounting tasks. This is a 3 to 6-month maternity leave coverage role, where you will work directly with the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update vendor records in Viewpoint.Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner.Conduct weekly check runs.Prepare waivers for subcontractors.Reconcile and process Union Reports.Reconcile vendor statements.Record and post all EFT payments.Process check requests and expense reports regularly.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.Proficiency in Excel.Strong vendor communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable.Ability to handle a high volume of invoices.Experience with any type of ERP system.Skills in payroll, invoice processing, accounting, invoicing, reconciliation, way match, coding, and vendor management.Work EnvironmentThis role requires working fully onsite from 8am to 5pm, in a 2-person AP team. You will collaborate directly with the AP Manager and CFO/Controller throughout the 4-month consulting period, supporting project accounting AP.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
