Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing accounts payable activities and procedures for the organization. This role ensures all accounts are properly paid and provides accurate and timely management reports. An individual with attention to detail and a passion for accurate and compliant practices will thrive in this position. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the role requires effective interaction with all levels within the organization. The specialist will lead their team to provide support to customers while ensuring partnership and collaborative fiduciary responsibility for the company. Responsibilities + Manage accounts payable activities and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance. + Ensure all accounts are properly paid and provide accurate and timely management reports. + Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction within the organization. + Lead the team to provide customer support while maintaining fiduciary responsibility. Essential Skills + Proficiency in accounts payable processes, accounting, invoicing, and invoice processing. + Experience with three-way matching and accounts payable. + Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Oracle. + Minimum of 2 years of high-volume AP experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with PO match exceptions. + Experience with Oracle required + Bachelor's Degree is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Overland Park, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
