In this role, you will play a key part in managing and maintaining the Company’s Accounts Payable processes – ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention-to-detail, deep knowledge of AP procedures, and a proactive approach to improving efficiency across accounting operations. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across departments to support month-end closing, lease accounting, and vendor management, contributing to the overall accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.
ResponsibilitiesCheck and approve all vouchers for payment.Prepare weekly check runs for both vendors and employee expense reports and initiate payments for processing.Record, code, and process all invoices for payment.Answer all vendor inquiries.Prepare accounts payable checks.Prepare analysis of accounts, as required.Set up new vendors.Data entry and collection of receipts for company credit card (Commercial Card).Assist in monthly closings.Essential SkillsStrong accounts payable experience.Experience with check runs and AP/Bank reconciliations.Experience with invoice processing, data entry, and accounting.Familiarity with reconciliation and month-end process.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Deltek ERP system is a huge plus but not required. Any ERP experience is helpful.Work EnvironmentInitially, you will work onsite at the Shaker Heights location. Eventually, you will transition to a hybrid schedule once training is complete.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
