Job Title:AP Customer Service Representative
Overview:
The AP Customer Service Representative supports the day-to-day delivery of escalated Accounts Payable (AP) customer service issues. This role works closely with Tier 2 support teams and other stakeholders to provide assistance for North America Downstream Accounts Payable transactions that require advanced analysis and research to resolve.
Responsibilities:Develop proficiency with various Accounts Payable systems (e.g., SAP S4, PeopleSoft, TAP) and processes to effectively resolve escalated issues and identify root causes.Review aged open payables to determine reasons for delays, including requesting refunds from suppliers or coordinating with vendor partners for key suppliers.Utilize TAP to ensure priority transactions move through the system promptly, following internal liaison direction.Process requests in TAP to reassign DCNs to the correct user based on branch or AP team instructions.Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including internal AP teams and managed services, to resolve escalated issues efficiently.Research open items in accounting systems, identify root causes, and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.Partner with other AP functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution.Assist with critical business account issues in an expedited manner, engaging appropriate personnel as needed.Adhere to internal KPIs and SLAs where applicable.Maintain a clear understanding of process flows and interactions between managed services and internal teams.Communicate promptly and professionally regarding invoice status, check requests, utility payments, and AP processing inquiries.Perform additional responsibilities as required by the company.Skills:Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and systemsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage escalated issues and communicate effectively with stakeholdersExperience Level:
