Accounts Payable Specialist
Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team for a temporary leave coverage role within the organization. The successful candidate will work directly with the CFO to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and financial records. Responsibilities + Maintain and update vendor records in Viewpoint. + Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner. + Conduct weekly check runs. + Prepare waivers for subcontractors. + Reconcile and process Reports. + Reconcile vendor statements. + Record and post all EFT payments. + Process check requests and expense reports regularly. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable. + Proficiency in Excel. + Strong vendor communication skills. + Experience with invoice processing, accounting, invoicing, payable reconciliation, and way match. + Competence in Microsoft Excel and coding. + Vendor management skills. + Experience with Viewpoint. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 1-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable. + Ability to handle a high volume of invoices. + Experience with any type of ERP system. Work Environment This role is fully onsite, with a schedule of 8am to 5pm, where you will work directly with the AP Manager and CFO/Controller. You will be part of a two-person AP team in a supportive and collaborative environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
