.Accounts Payable Specialist Minneapolis, MN (hybrid schedule) Job Description This role involves managing the entries of purchase orders into the IQMS (ERP) system. The Accounts Payable Specialist will handle a significant volume of invoices and ensure accurate and timely payment processing. The position requires collaboration with other departments and resolving vendor-related issues. Responsibilities + Enter purchase orders into IQMS (ERP) system, handling 50-70 invoices daily. + Run weekly payments via Automated Clearing House (ACH), and/or check/wire. + Resolve issues or concerns with vendors related to payment and disbursement. + Ensure payments are made timely and invoices are processed correctly. + Collaborate with other departments on invoice/payment matters. + Enter information for invoices as needed. + Run monthly and year-end close reports. + Maintain, analyze, and reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts. + Support the 1099 process. Essential Skills + Data entry + Invoicing + Accounts Payable + Purchase order management Qualifications + 2+ years of accounts payable experience + 2+ years of experience working in an ERP system + 1+ year of 1099 experience + Ability to quickly adapt and manage a fast-paced workload Work Environment The Accounts Payable Specialist will join a team of two other specialists The work takes place in a newly renovated office in St. Louis Park. Initially, the position requires full-time in-office attendance, with potential for hybrid flexibility after a month. The office environment is relaxed and has a family-like atmosphere, supporting work-life balance. The role offers an open-ended contract with the possibility of conversion to a full-time position. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
