Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy through detailed three-way matching, and maintaining precise records of all accounts payable transactions.
Responsibilities
+ Review and process vendor invoices for payment.
+ Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices to ensure accuracy and prevent overpayments.
+ Resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders or receiving documents.
+ Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
+ Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice or payment issues.
+ Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
+ Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
+ Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in processing invoices.
+ Ability to manage discrepancies effectively.
Work Environment
This position requires working on-site five days a week. The role involves interacting with vendors and internal departments to ensure smooth processing of accounts payable transactions.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of St. Augustine, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
