Accounts Payable Specialist

My client, a reputable company here in Jacksonville, FL, is hiring for an Accounts Payable Associate with competitive pay and growth opportunity!
Job Description:
+ Oversee the complete lifecycle of vendor payments—including checks, ACH, and wire transfers—ensuring precision and adherence to internal policies.
+ Coordinate and execute scheduled payment runs, securing necessary approvals and verifying supporting documentation.
+ Reconcile accounts payable subledger with the general ledger, investigating and resolving any payment-related discrepancies.
+ Act as the main liaison for vendor payment questions, delivering prompt resolutions and fostering positive vendor relationships.
+ Ensure compliance with tax reporting obligations (e.g., 1099 filings) and contribute to year-end reporting processes.
+ Assist with month-end and quarter-end close procedures, including the preparation of accruals and reporting of disbursements.
+ Collaborate with treasury, procurement, and operational teams to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of payment processes.
+ Maintain thorough and organized records of all outgoing payments to support audit and regulatory requirements.
+ Identify and propose enhancements for automation, process optimization, and stronger internal controls related to disbursements.
Qualifications to Apply:
+ Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and D365 preferred
+ At least one year of AP experience
+ Good communication skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
