We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and maintaining accuracy in financial records.Key Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices with ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely approvals.Verify supporting documentation such as purchase orders, contracts, and receipts.Enter invoices into the accounting/ERP system with proper GL coding.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9 forms, and submit required documents to the compliance team for vendor setup. Complete and process vendor credit application requests.Assist with month-end close by preparing AP accruals and reconciliations.Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and within terms.Provide documentation and explanations to support audits.Identify and support process improvements to enhance AP efficiency.Manage CLC & P-Card coding for KS & TX, and handle ordering of new CLC & P-Cards.Assist with creating purchase orders as needed.Assisting with payables reports during Month EndOther duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or related accounting role.Strong knowledge of general accounting principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.).Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Compensation & Benefits:
