Automotive interior manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is critical to ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or automotive environment and be comfortable working with ERP systems and Excel. Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable
Ability to process 200+ invoices weekly
Must have experience with 3-way matching
Advanced experience with Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)
Description
General/broad overview of the role:
•\tReview all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
•\tSort and distribute incoming mail.
•\tProcess P.O. matching invoices, as applicable- they will be processing 150-200 invoices weekly
•\tMatch invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly.
•\tRespond to all vendor inquiries. - most via email but some vendors do call in
•\tReconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies - reconciliations - month end
•\tAccrual Accounting
•\tAssist in month end closing- they will be helping with Full Cycle month end close. Month end close usually takes about 5 days
•\tMaintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
•\tAssist with other projects as needed
•\tExcel skills- v lookups and sum ifs

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
