Description We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a well-established company in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll oversee the accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoice management, account reconciliations, and cultivating strong vendor relationships. Responsibilities: + Process a high volume of invoices from multiple branches with accuracy and efficiency. + Assign appropriate general ledger expense codes to invoices. + Enter verified invoice data into accounting software systems. + Maintain and update vendor records, including proper documentation of W-9 forms. + Coordinate with branches to address and resolve invoice discrepancies and outstanding balances. + Investigate and resolve payment-related issues, including inquiries about check status and voided payments. + Foster strong relationships with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely account reconciliation. + Respond promptly to branch inquiries regarding invoice processing. + Take on additional responsibilities and assist with special projects as needed. Requirements Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required). + At least 1 year of hands-on experience in accounts payable processing. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software systems. + Solid understanding of accounts payable workflows, such as invoice coding and processing. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving invoice-related issues. + Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy. + Effective communication skills for seamless collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
