Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves coding invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records for a diverse book of clients using proprietary ERP software. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, working with both internal teams and external customers to resolve discrepancies and ensure financial integrity.
Responsibilities include:
Code and process invoices, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
+ Utilize ERP software to manage electronic and check payments.
+ Maintain client accounts and monitor payment statuses.
+ Employ Excel skills, including pivot tables, to document and resolve discrepancies.
+ Collaborate with sales and accounting teams to ensure accuracy in payment processing.
+ Handle insurance carrier payables with a focus on detail and accuracy.
+ Process high volumes of statements and invoices, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
+ Communicate effectively with internal employees and external vendors to resolve payment issues.
+ Manage urgent payment processing tasks, including creating labels for overnight shipments.
+ Record payments and update the payable systems accurately.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
