Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining supplier profiles within our procurement and ERP applications. This role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision. Additionally, the candidate will assist the department manager with complex tasks and projects as needed.

Primary responsibilities include

Deliver outstanding customer service to suppliers and internal stakeholders within the Payment Operations Department.Facilitate supplier onboarding processes, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and controls.Validate requests, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.Collaborate with suppliers and the Procurement team to create and maintain accurate supplier profiles.Uphold a robust control environment to mitigate risks effectively.Escalate issues to the manager when necessary.Serve as a subject matter expert for projects and meetings.Undertake special projects as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.1-2 years of experience with Ariba is preferred.1-2 years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite is preferred.Proficient knowledge of the Procure-to-Pay process is required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.Strong organizational skills.

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30
