Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the company’s outgoing payments. This role involves processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and maintaining accurate financial records. Depending on the level, responsibilities may also include supervising AP staff and overseeing payroll and expense functions.

ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices accurately and timely.Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies.Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.Supervise accounts payable staff, if applicable.Oversee payroll and expense functions as needed.Essential SkillsAccounts payable expertise.Proficiency in invoice processing and data entry.Strong knowledge of ERP systems.Excellent communication skills.Problem-solving abilities.Organizational skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.2+ years of accounts payable experience.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced, requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines. The role involves working with ERP systems and requires excellent organizational skills to maintain financial records accurately.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
