Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team at a leading manufacturing company. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function.
Key Responsibilities:Review and process vendor invoices for accuracy, proper approval, and timely payment.Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices to ensure completeness.Enter invoice data into the accounting system (ERP).Assist with weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries.Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records and documentation.Support month-end closing activities by preparing reports and reconciliations.Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to resolve issues.Qualifications:Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting preferred.Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (ERP systems a plus).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWork Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
