Position SummaryA leading healthcare organization is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Representative to join its Finance team. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations by processing vendor payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting internal departments with payment-related inquiries.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess all accounts payable transactions in compliance with internal policies and procedures.Maintain and communicate unprocessed voucher lists for month-end accruals.Collaborate with Purchasing to resolve match exceptions.Respond to vendor and department inquiries regarding invoice and payment status.Complete monthly financial close tasks including posting and accruals.Review vendor statements and follow up on outstanding invoices and credits.Conduct duplicate payment audits and communicate findings to management.Reconcile vendor payments and ensure accuracy of financial records.Maintain vendor files, including W9 updates for 1099 reporting.Process stop payments, reissues, credit memos, and refunds.Support month-end invoice entry and recurring voucher adjustments.Handle inquiries from attorneys, collection agencies, and patients.Manage wire requests and payment runs for Medsurge, Pharmacy, and AMEX.Administer the Fuelman program and online travel tool (Expensables).Perform XML uploads for Pharmacy invoices and other electronic processes.Participate in special projects and support continuous process improvements.QualificationsRequired:
Associate\u2019s degree or equivalent experience in Finance or a related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable.Strong understanding of accounting and payables processes.Proven ability to analyze and resolve AP issues.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Preferred:

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $53000.00/hr.
