Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Corona, California. This role requires someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates technical proficiency, and takes ownership of their assignments. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering accurate, timely results. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to establish and verify Purchase Orders (POs) for accurate invoice processing. • Ensure all invoices have corresponding POs and conduct thorough checks to validate their existence. • Enter invoices line by line into an ERP system, maintaining precision and attention to detail. • Perform 3-way matching for invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies. • Generate proposals for Accounts Payable and submit them for Treasury review and approval. • Post payments accurately, ensuring proper alignment with organizational standards. • Apply cash once payments are processed, avoiding tasks related to check issuance. • Handle invoices with varying complexities, including high-volume and price variance data sets. • Utilize advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP to streamline data management. • Work closely with multiple departments to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable with a Bachelor's Degree OR 7+ years of experience processing full cycle accounts payable. • Proficiency in AS400 software for invoice and payment processing. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP. • Strong IT skills and the ability to navigate complex systems with confidence. • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. • Ability to adapt and multitask effectively in a dynamic work environment. • Proven track record of taking ownership and completing assignments independently.
