Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires a skilled professional with a strong background in managing full cycle accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, and maintaining excellent vendor relationships.
ResponsibilitiesHandle full cycle accounts payable tasks with at least three years of relevant experience.Review invoices for appropriate General Ledger (GL) coding and proof of product/service delivery at various office locations.Ensure accurate sales tax charges, process credit memos, and conduct weekly check runs.Perform Purchase Order (PO) matching and prioritize invoice payments based on vendor terms.Monitor electronic inbox for incoming invoices and process monthly expense reports.Determine GL codes from the Chart of Accounts and reconcile monthly vendor statements.Manage high volume invoice processing, handling up to 1500 invoices monthly.Essential SkillsMinimum of two years' experience in accounts payable.Proficiency in complex invoice processing and excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong ability to use Excel formulas and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Experience in logistics or international industry accounting, and familiarity with SAP and three-way matching.Additional Skills & QualificationsProven vendor management experience.Experience with accounts payable/receivable processes.Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is part of a 50-person department with multiple teams within the Accounts Payable division. You will support the international AP team. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
