Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Fall River, MA (594 Airport Road) or Central Islip, NY (550 S. Research Place)

Employment Type: 12 month contract (full-time hours)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle accounts payable processes, supporting monthly and annual financial activities, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools, and a strong understanding of financial compliance and reporting standards.

Routine Accounts Payable Activities:

Coordinate full-cycle accounts payable processes using SAP.

Process non-inventory invoices via Cimmra and SAP.

Review vendor invoices, statements, T&E reports, and credit card bills; reconcile discrepancies.

Perform month-end close activities and generate all related reports.

Handle bank transactions including deposits, check writing, wire transfers, and ACH payments (with management approval).

Manage vendor setup and ongoing vendor relationship maintenance.

Optimize invoice approval workflows.

Collaborate with internal teams to maintain MIS using Microsoft Office tools.

Financial Planning & Reporting:

Participate in the annual operating expense budgeting process.

Track monthly provisions and assist with periodic closing activities.

Prepare and update lists of AMCs and other fixed charges.

Support month-end general ledger analysis for financial statements and cash flow planning.

Lead cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and asset evaluations.

Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with internal and external regulations.

Update and share MIS reports on utility consumption.

Corporate Support:

Assist with corporate secretarial practices and maintain records as directed by the Corporate Secretarial team.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounts payable and financial operations.

Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.

Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
