Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Representative I independently performs the data collection and analysis necessary to maintain records related to functions in accounts payable. 

This position is eligible for our Crane Flex Hybrid schedule which allows for the option of up to 2 days/week of work-from-home. Some conditions apply which will be discussed during the interview process. Full policy to be provided after hire.

Essential Functions: 

Collect, code and compile data to prepare accounts payable invoices and debit memos for payment to suppliers which may involve interpretation and analysis Update new and existing vendor records and banking details Initiate contact or respond to inquiries as assigned Perform various posting, coding, balancing and reconciling of records and accounts Support CBS efforts within the department Use strong communications skills, both oral and written to internal and external customers Any other task assigned by supervisor or management 


Minimum Qualifications: 

Experience: 1-2 years in accounting or equivalent Experience in Accounts PayableProficient in Microsoft ExcelProficient in OracleKnowledge of accounting processes/procedures and Microsoft Office Skills/Abilities: Ability to work in an independent and team setting with both internal and external suppliers and customers. Strong communication skills. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalentEligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Top Benefits:

Salary range: $24.52 to $29.83. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
