Accounts Payable Representative
Job Title: Accounts Payable RepresentativeJob Description

Join a dynamic team where you will be responsible for the efficient processing of invoices and managing vendor relationships. This role is crucial in supporting the financial operations, with a strong focus on construction job costing and ensuring accurate and timely payment processes.

ResponsibilitiesProcess 40-50 invoices daily.Answer inquiries on the PO Hotline.Enter trade payables into the accounts payable system.Process purchases using company credit cards.Research and resolve issues related to purchase orders.Create purchase orders and associate them with work orders and construction jobs.Enter parts onto service work orders and input invoices into accounts payable.Conduct vendor invoice research.Contact vendors and subcontractors who have not yet submitted bills.Match vendor invoices to paid details.Enter construction invoices into accounts payable and understand progress billing.Process checks and credit card payments to vendors.Place orders with vendors.Handle incoming and outgoing mail.Collaborate closely with the CFO.Utilize experience in construction job costing.Run checks and assist with overhead processing, including entry of parts into work orders and vendor payments.Educate others about issues, not just identify them.Cover front desk duties on a rotational basis, three times per day.Essential Skills1-3 years experience in Accounts Payable.Proficient in invoice processing and vendor management.Ability to perform two-way matching.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.Additional Skills & QualificationsBackground in construction.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for sorting, filtering, and data entry.High school diploma.Familiarity with Ascent ERP.Strong memorization and problem-solving abilities.Work Environment

This is a fully onsite role with a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The team consists of three members in the Accounts Payable department. The position is based in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
