Accounts Payable Representative
Our client, a leader in automotive parts importing, is seeking an Accounts Payable Representative to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Representative, you will be part of the finance team supporting the accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Accounts Payable Representative **Location:** Oak Brook, IL (Onsite) **What's the Job?** + Receive, verify, and log vendor invoices, ensuring they match purchase orders and contracts. + Update and maintain the accounts payable ledger, ensuring all financial data is accurate and current. + Assist in preparing payment runs, ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner. + Perform regular reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. + Maintain proper documentation and ensure all financial records are filed correctly. **What's Needed?** + 1-2+ years’ of previous experience in accounts payable or finance within a high volume organization processing 8000+ total transactions a month. + Bachelor's degree preferred - not required. + Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills. + Ability to handle a high volume of transactions and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). + AS400 software knowledge – heavily preferred.
