Description
An expanding manufacturing firm in South Florida is seeking a seasoned Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager to lead and strengthen their growing finance and accounting team. This is a key leadership role for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building efficient, scalable financial operations. You’ll be joining a growing organization where your expertise will directly impact financial operations, team development, and long-term scalability.
What You’ll Do
+ Lead, mentor, and supervise the AP and AR teams, fostering accountability and high performance
+ Review and approve invoices and payments while actively managing aging reports to ensure timely collections and disbursements
+ Monitor cash flow, optimize payment schedules, and oversee day-to-day financial transactions
+ Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues with vendors and customers professionally and efficiently
+ Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting
+ Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
+ Train and support team members on financial systems, leveraging experience with NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
+ Use Mac products and Google Workspace to manage reporting and daily workflows
+ Identify opportunities to streamline AP/AR processes and implement continuous improvements
+ Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations
Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Strong knowledge of coding invoices, check runs, and ACH payment processing.
• Proficiency in billing functions and collection processes.
• Familiarity with financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Ability to use Mac products and Google Suite effectively.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in resolving payment discrepancies and handling vendor/customer disputes.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements for federal, state, and local regulations.
