Accounts Payable Specialist About the Role We’re looking for a highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll oversee the full accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice handling while maintaining compliance with GAAP standards. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating across departments to improve efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities + Coordinate workflow between property management and accounting teams. + Manage electronic filing of property-related accounting documentation. + Oversee all aspects of accounts payable, including account coding and invoice processing. + Proactively resolve issues impacting financial statements. + Participate in month-end close activities. + Review and monitor cash flow forecasts for multiple accounts and projects. + Ensure compliance with capitalization policies for fixed assets. + Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Qualifications + 2–3 years of experience, preferably in real estate (not required). + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. + High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information. + Proficiency in property management accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Google Suite is a plus. + Ability to read and interpret complex lease documents.
