What this opportunity involves:
The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for providing timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining strict compliance with policies and procedures.
This is a casual on-going role, working 2 to 3 days (15 – 22.5 hours) per week based in our JLL Canberra office.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily processing of property expenditure invoices with precision and speed while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environmentAssist with financial enquiries from designated government clients and support ongoing client reporting requirementsMonitor processing accuracy, ensure adherence to policies and procedures, and apply appropriate internal controls while addressing operational issuesLiaise with internal teams (Finance, leasing managers, lease administration, facilities management) and external client representatives to ensure seamless operationsProvide high-level service to clients, third parties, and staff members while supporting various ad hoc tasks as requiredKey Skills & Requirements
Currently pursuing tertiary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business is desirableStrong communication and interpersonal skills across all mediums (spoken, written and in-person)Sound computer literacy in standard MS Office, particularly Word and ExcelStrong sense of ownership over responsibilities and processesProven reliability with ability to meet deadlinesCapability to work independently with a keen eye for detailWhat you can expect from us:
