Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager
6-month Contract-to-Hire (goal is to convert permanently)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and optimize our AP operations. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all AP processes while driving system improvements and supporting organizational growth. The position will be fully remote until the end of July 2026, as we are currently in the process of moving offices.
Responsibilities
Oversee vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and credit card reconciliation.Review and approve all invoices and payments (ACH, wire transfers, checks) for accuracy and compliance.Manage virtual credit card processes, including approvals and issuance with proper controls.Ensure accurate coding of invoices and payments to the General Ledger.Prepare and review period-end accruals and reconciliations for AP and related accounts.Complete and reconcile prepaid expenses and ensure proper journal entries.Generate and analyze AP reports to monitor performance and identify trends.Lead AP integration for newly acquired entities, harmonizing policies and procedures for smooth transitions.Manage and mentor the AP team, overseeing daily operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.Establish and enforce AP policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with GAAP standards.Serve as a key stakeholder in the selection and implementation of a new ERP system.Lead the design and configuration of AP functions within the system to ensure seamless integration.Essential Skills
5+ years of direct, hands-on full cycle accounts payable experience.2+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, demonstrating a solid understanding of debits, credits, and the general ledger.Strong preference for experience in the SaaS industry or with subscription-based business models.Prior experience in a management or supervisory role leading an AP team is highly desirable.Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and AP automation tools (e.g., Stampli, Tropic).Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.07/hr.
