Accounts Payable Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the accounts payable operations in our Dallas, Texas office. This role involves overseeing financial processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and efficiency within the department. Responsibilities: • Supervise daily accounts payable functions to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. • Manage company-wide implementation and administration of the purchase order system. • Oversee corporate card programs and ensure proper usage and compliance. • Administer expense reimbursement applications to streamline employee reimbursements. • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records for financial, employee, and vendor transactions. • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies. • Set departmental goals and lead initiatives to achieve them successfully. • Develop and enforce policies to optimize efficiency and maintain accuracy within the department. • Ensure all internal controls and compliance policies related to accounts payable are strictly followed. • Recruit, mentor, and evaluate team members to build a strong and effective accounts payable team. Requirements • Possess 10+ years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, or a closely related field. • Have a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role. • Demonstrate proficiency with enterprise-level business software, such as or equivalent systems. • Showcase advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and strong familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications. • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders. • Display strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities. • Uphold ethical standards and ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive information. • Commit to continuous improvement and demonstrate attention to detail in all tasks.
