We’re seeking a seasoned Accounts Payable Manager to lead and refine our procure-to-pay operations. What You’ll Do • Maintain and audit vendor records, ensuring all documentation (e.g., W-9s, 1099s) is complete and compliant. • Cultivate strong vendor partnerships, resolving payment inquiries and promoting streamlined payment solutions. • Lead AP operations using automation tools to enhance workflow efficiency and monitor key performance indicators. • Review and authorize payment batches, collaborating with Treasury to ensure accuracy and timely execution. • Monitor invoice activity around period-end cutoffs to meet weekly and monthly deadlines. • Handle month-end responsibilities including invoice posting, accrual preparation, and general ledger reconciliation. • Oversee employee expense systems such as Concur and Pcard, ensuring policy compliance and timely reimbursements. • Provide support for virtual card programs and ensure proper documentation for tax reporting, including 1099 filings. • Coordinate responses to audit requests, delivering accurate and timely documentation. • Mentor and guide AP team members, promoting consistency and best practices throughout the procure-to-pay cycle. What You Bring • Proven experience managing accounts payable functions in a mid-to-large organization. • Strong knowledge of AP systems and automation tools. • Familiarity with tax reporting requirements and compliance standards. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. • Proven experience in accounts payable management or a similar role, with 7+ years of relevant experience. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger processes. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate to advanced functions. • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous process improvement. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
