Accounts Payable Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and optimize the full accounts payable cycle in Bellevue, Washington. This role involves managing invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation tasks while ensuring efficient reporting of metrics. The ideal candidate will also lead the accounts payable team, drive process improvements, and collaborate across departments to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities: • Oversee the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and vendor payments. • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to the accounts payable team, fostering growth and high performance. • Collaborate with procurement, contracts, and project teams to resolve cross-functional issues and enhance workflow efficiency. • Identify and address root causes of payment delays or errors, implementing corrective actions and tracking results. • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure effective communication and resolution of payment inquiries. • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor accounts payable performance and report metrics to stakeholders. • Lead system enhancements and implement technology tools, such as Oracle Fusion Cloud and accounts payable automation systems. • Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliation and compliance with accounting standards. • Prepare and present internal reports on accounts payable metrics to department and project leaders. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize accounts payable processes and team performance. Benefits: Comprehensive Medical and Wellness Benefits + M/V/D + Life and Disability + 401(k) Plan + 21 days of annually accrued PTO + 10 paid holidays + Professional and Educational Support Opportunities Requirements • Proven experience managing accounts payable processes and leading teams. • Proficiency with Oracle Fusion Cloud or similar Tier 1 accounting systems such as PeopleSoft or comparable platforms. • Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including account coding, accrual accounting, and auditing. • Familiarity with financial tools such as ADP, Concur, and automated clearing house (ACH) systems. • Ability to analyze and improve accounts payable workflows through data-driven decision-making. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors. • Experience developing and tracking KPIs and preparing detailed financial reports. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities and resolve complex issues.
