Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Job Description

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for executing clerical, informational, and record-keeping tasks as assigned by the Accounts Payable department. This role ensures timely submission of supporting documents for purchase transactions with both internal and external clients. Key responsibilities include processing inventory and non-inventory invoices for payment, and maintaining accurate records across all company departments.

ResponsibilitiesManage the full cycle accounts payable process, including entering invoices and performing 2/3-way matching with purchase orders.Handle expense reports, check runs, ACH/Wire payments, and vendor reconciliations.Accurately code invoices with general ledger numbers.Select invoices for check printing based on due dates.Match paid invoices with signed checks.Open and distribute mail, email, and internal communications within the department.Distribute invoices to various departments for approval.Resolve discrepancies with Purchasing and/or vendors and follow up as necessary.Maintain accurate vendor information and conduct W9 reviews.Respond to phone inquiries and assist internal departments and vendors.Pull documentation as needed for audits.Perform additional tasks as assigned to meet company goals.Essential SkillsExperience in accounts payable and invoice processing.Proficiency in three-way match and ACH payments.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.Ability to handle payroll and filing tasks.Competence in physical inventory management.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma with some college-level Accounting or Business courses.At least one year of experience in an Accounts Payable or related department.Fluency in English for speaking, reading, and writing.Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.Strong mathematical skills, including accurate calculation of sales tax amounts.Proficient in Accounting software and MS Office Suite.Work Environment

The position is on-site, working within a cubicle setting as part of the accounting team. The company has a large presence, having been established for over 50 years, offering a stable and professional work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.
