Full Time | Temp-to-Hire | Accounts Payable Clerk with a few Accounts Receivable tasks sprinkled in

Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | $18 - $19 per hour, depending on experience

Our ideal candidate will have the experience to prove their ability to handle a variety of accounting tasks, including AP, AR, sales tax, invoice entry, and assisting with purchasing functions.

It's a great fit for someone with 1-2 years of accounting experience who's detail-oriented, organized, and ready to jump in immediately.


Our client will be conducting in-person interviews on-site in Brooksville, Tuesday, 5/6 - let's get you qualified this weekend and submitted for consideration on Monday, 5/5!

Responsibilities:
Enter vendor invoices and review vendor statements for accuracy

Review sales tax exemption certificates, apply tax status to orders, and pull related reports

Send customer invoices and process credit references

Provide general accounting support as needed

Assist with clerical functions in the purchasing department

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with vendors, customers, and internal teams

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Familiarity with ERP systems, accounting software, Microsoft Office, and Adobe

Proficient organizational abilities with a sharp attention to detail

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Accurate typing and data entry skills

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
1???2 years of experience in an accounting environment

Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, plus Microsoft Office

Ability to manage time and files effectively, ensuring audit and compliance standards are met

Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)

Availability to commit to a full-time schedule during the temporary assignment
