Job Posting: Permanent Accounts Payable Clerk
Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their organization on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to become a trusted member of the finance team, contributing to smooth daily operations and supporting ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Process vendor invoices efficiently and accurately
+ Manage weekly check runs and electronic payments
+ Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
+ Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions
+ Support month-end and year-end accounting activities
+ Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and maintain positive working relationships
+ Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies and internal controls
Qualifications:
+ Experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting support role
+ Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices
+ Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
+ High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
+ Certificate or diploma in accounting or finance preferred

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• Proficiency in invoice coding and processing.
• Familiarity with check runs and electronic payment systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data entry.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with vendors and team members.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle time-sensitive financial tasks.
• Knowledge of corporate credit card reconciliation processes.
• Understanding of 1099 form preparation and compliance requirements.
