Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Bethpage, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and other financial transactions. Responsibilities: • Process high volumes of invoices promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies. • Review and code invoices to appropriate accounts, maintaining precise records. • Conduct regular check runs and verify payment details to ensure accuracy. • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies. • Monitor and maintain accounts payable records, ensuring all documentation is complete. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. • Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable activities. • Perform regular audits of payable accounts to maintain data integrity. • Support team members with additional tasks during peak periods. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Strong understanding of invoice coding and processing procedures. • Proficiency in conducting check runs and managing payment schedules. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in high-volume environments. • Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams. • Familiarity with accounting software and tools. • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
