Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing invoice processes and ensuring accurate financial transactions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounts payable and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and proper coding. • Manage check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors. • Review and analyze invoice discrepancies, addressing issues as needed. • Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions. • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment inquiries. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities. • Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts payable. • Audit financial records to ensure accuracy and prevent errors. • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. • Proficiency in processing and coding invoices. • Strong understanding of check runs and payment procedures. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to analyze and resolve invoice discrepancies effectively. • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools. • Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
