Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk in Winnipeg to join our clients team on a temporary basis, starting immediately. This role supports the finance department with high-volume expense and invoice processing and requires a strong understanding of Canadian taxes. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy, appropriate approvals, and compliance with company policies

Apply and verify Canadian tax calculations (GST/HST/PST/QST as applicable)

Match invoices to supporting documentation and resolve discrepancies

Communicate with internal departments and vendors to address inquiries and issues

Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing of accounts payable documentation

Assist with month-end activities as required

Perform other accounts payable and administrative duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in high-volume expense claim processing

Strong understanding of Canadian tax regulations related to accounts payable

Excellent written and verbal  communication skills

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a busy environment

Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel is an asset

Criminal record check is required
