Join our global Finance team as an Accounts Payable Clerk and play a vital role in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will ensure efficient processing of vendor and employee payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role is crucial in the financial period-end closing process, supporting account reconciliations.
ResponsibilitiesReview, verify, and match vendor invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents accurately.Identify and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with purchasing and receiving departments.Process corporate credit card and employee expense reports in accordance with company policy.Enter invoices into NetSuite promptly and accurately.Execute vendor and employee payments using EFT, ACH, and wire transfers through NetSuite and banking platforms.Set up new vendors in NetSuite and manage accounts payable inquiries.Reconcile trade and intercompany payables, inventory received not billed, and prepaid expenses.Prepare monthly accounts payable accruals and related journal entries.Identify opportunities for greater efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.Serve as a primary point of contact for accounts payable inquiries from internal departments and external vendors.Provide support for various ad-hoc accounting projects as required by the Finance team.Essential Skills2 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.Proficiency in invoice processing and accounts payable management.Intermediate Excel skills, including V Lookups.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work from home if required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with NetSuite.Manufacturing industry experience.Proficiency in three-way matching.Experience with Google Suite.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.Team-oriented mindset.Work EnvironmentYou will work closely with the Accounting Manager and three other accounts payable teammates within a Finance team of approximately 10 members. The team is friendly, helpful, and maintains a welcoming work environment. Enjoy a balance of working from home on Mondays and Fridays, and in the office from Tuesday to Thursday. The office features an on-site gym with showers, an outdoor basketball court, free coffee, tea, snacks, and free parking. The location is also transit accessible.
