Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Middleburg, Virginia. In this contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions while maintaining vendor relationships. This role requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in managing full-cycle accounts payable processes. Responsibilities: • Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including data entry and invoice review. • Respond promptly to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders. • Organize and maintain vendor files to ensure accurate record-keeping. • Coordinate the invoice approval process to ensure compliance with company policies. • Audit invoices to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Ensure adherence to deadlines and financial protocols. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts payable operations. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related role. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. • Familiarity with Sage 100 software is preferred. • Strong auditing and data entry skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy under tight deadlines. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
