Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description Join a dynamic team as an Accounts Payable Specialist where you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring efficient processing of invoices and payments. You will be responsible for entering new purchase orders, processing invoices, and assisting with supplier onboarding. Responsibilities + Enter new incoming purchase order requests or change orders. + Review and process incoming invoices not related to EPC. + Assist with supplier onboarding and changes, including AP verification requests. + Process urgent payment requests. + Assist with wire transfer requests. + Respond to supplier inquiries regarding payment or invoice status. + Assist with various ad hoc tasks and special requests. Essential Skills + Experience with purchase order and invoice processing. + Proficiency in data entry and accounts payable procedures. + Knowledge of PO matching and banking methods including ACH, checks, and wire payments. + Experience with PeopleSoft. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous accounts payable experience. + Basic knowledge of capitalization and accounting principles. + Understanding of SOX compliance. Work Environment This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 2 days in the office (Tuesday and Wednesday) and 3 days remote. Ideally, candidates will be based in Denver. The role provides an opportunity for growth, with potential to transition to a full-time position overseeing specific categories or services. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
