Description Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and expense reports Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to ensure accuracy Enter and code invoices into the accounting system Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements Maintain accurate and organized vendor files and records Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or issues Assist with month-end closing and year-end processes Support audits by providing documentation as requested Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance preferred) 1–3 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
